Few words about my sister
I am writing on behalf of my eldest sister Arunima, living currently in New Delhi, employed with the United Nations Organization. Arunima had married in 1991, and had been experiencing a perfect marriage till fate made her meet with a shocking turn of events. She lost her husband at the age of 30 years to a brain ailment in the year 2000. Since then she has exhibited extreme courage, tenacity and determination in raising her only son almost single handedly as an ideal mother. She is a live example of grit and determination and an inspiration for all of us as she demonstrates a great positive attitude and will to move ahead in life and facing challenges head on since such a young age! She believes that life is the most precious gift of God and must be valued no matter what.
After so many years of focusing on her son?s development and managing her own career simultaneously, I feel, she has now come to a point where she feels that life can never really be complete without a life partner, someone to share every moment with - to add more meaning to life.
As a person, Arunima is highly balanced, matured, broad minded, warm and empathetic. She is independent in her thoughts and finances and possess a very pleasant nature, loves a sense of humour and is easily liked by all. A wonderful home maker and a mother, she can effortlessly manage both work and home simultaneously. She has a God gifted voice and is a trained Ghazal singer. She is an avid music lover and loves watching movies and playing the electronic keyboard during her leisure. However, creative writing in English is her forte since her high school days and she has won several prizes for the same. In other words, she is multi faceted - an amazing and dynamic woman of substance, who is well grounded to her roots...As a younger sister, I would sincerely wish to see her with a companion again.

About our family
Arunima hails from a Bengali upper middle class family. Her parents are from South Kolkata, Father, a Retrd. Civil Engineer, worked in UAE for a considerable period of his career, mother passed away in 2006. She has two sisters, her younger sister, a green card holder and Ph.D in the US, a professor in am American University, married to an American Professor, and youngest sister (myself), married as well, living in Bangalore, a marketing professional.
Arunima has a wonderfully intelligent and talented son, who would be appearing for his class 10 board exams next year.
