Golfers got into the swing of fundraising when they took part in a charity tournament for the North London Hospice.
The annual event, held at Hendon Golf Club, raised thousands of pounds for the Finchley-based charity, which provides care and support for people with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses.
A total of 30 teams paid to enter Wednesday?s tournament, which included an afternoon of entertainment and an auction, which alone raised ?11,500.
The day?s total is still being counted but organisers are hoping to beat last year?s effort of ?25,000.
Organising committee chairman Ian Penhallow said: "I am so grateful to the generosity of our main sponsors Martyn Gerrard, the donations of prizes, auction items, raffle prizes and of course the teams which all go to make this a very enjoyable and financially successful day.
"The hospice has had a busy year and continues to stay at the forefront of palliative care. The money we raise every year playing golf directly allows North London Hospice to support and care for more patients and their families."
North London Hospice fundraising manager Judi Guy added: "The Hendon annual golf day has become an important event in our fundraising programme. The wonderful weather accompanied by great supporters made for a very successful day. It really does mean so much to us.?
