Built with?Php, MySQL and Ajax, it is completely customizable using HTML and CSS. Updates are achieved through a single click. Lemonstand promises an upcoming App store for third party wares. Lemonstand?s API website shows how your site can accept product reviews rated with the standard 5 gold-star format. They also provide an extensive developer guide to the system.

Lemonstand?s underlying framework uses an MVC approach and OOP. It employs a flexible caching API for fast recall of store items.

Customer payments are processed through a payment gateway of your choosing. Gateways already integrated include Authorize.net, PayPal, eWay, FirstData, Braintree, Sage Pay, SecureTrading and more. It also allows you to set up custom payment options such as net 30 of wholesale customers.

According to a press release on PRWeb LemonStand raised an undisclosed amount of seed funds in September from the Business Development Bank of Canada IT Fund and a group of angel investors.

With free trials available, commercial licenses start at $299.
